Amy Lyles Wilson, MA, M.T.S., describes herself as follows: “I am part writer/editor, part creativity coach, and part spiritual companion—all heart. I’m a highly sensitive, word-loving Southerner who feels at home just outside the main circle of life. Close enough to be aware of what’s happening, but far enough off-center to connect with fellow seekers in search of their true communities. I’m a law school dropout, a recovering debutante, and a woman on a mission to help people tell the stories they need to share. I am a published writer, an experienced editor, and a trained spiritual director. Peonies are my favorite flowers, I have a passion for British mysteries, and I consider Western North Carolina my soul’s home. Hearing Van Morrison at the Ryman was a dream come true.

GriefShare Grief Support Group
No matter what the circumstances, grief is a painful, confusing process. A GriefShare group is a safe,
welcoming place where people understand the complex emotions of grief. At this 13-week support
group program, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since
there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its
unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
At each weekly meeting, you will view a video featuring respected counselors, pastors, and healthcare professionals.
Professionals on grief-related topics, plus you’ll hear relatable personal stories of grief.
After that, a small group discussion will allow people time to talk, share support, and personally apply what they
learned in the video. Everyone will receive a book to take home filled with valuable exercises for
navigating their grieving process.
