Please join us for an engaging and inspiring seminar on the use of creativity with dementia. As a neurologist, author, educator, and caregiver for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, Dr. Daniel Potts will be exploring the powerful use of art to provide an avenue of comfort and expression for those living with dementia. In addition, Board Certified Art Therapists and Music Therapists will present how their work is utilized to promote reminiscence and a sense of self in the care and treatment of this population.

Wellness 66 is once again partnering with the Nashville Psychotherapy Institute to bring Dr. Kristin Neff to Nashville for a day-long workshop on the power of self-compassion. As an Associate Professor of Human Development and Culture at the University of Texas in Austin, Dr. Neff has conducted groundbreaking research on the topic and is world-renowned for her discovery of the profound mental and physical health benefits of practicing self-compassion.

Support group for active women caring for a loved one with dementia. Are you balancing life, family, work, and caregiving? Do you feel stressed and lonely juggling all your responsibilities? Join the Daughters of Dementia Support Group as we come together for support and connection to help you navigate your caregiving journey.
The group will meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm at Franklin First United Methodist Church in room B139.
